The Visual Editor feature relies on the Parsoid service which must be accessible from the host running the wiki.

To Fix

  1. Check your firewall (to ensure appropriate ports are open).
  2. Check the wgVirtualRestConfig for the correct IP, port and service endpoint configuration.
  3. Check the configuration for Unmanaged Load Balancer which may influence the Parsoid service IP @fixme

Now the staging sites are showing a 500 server error when using VE

Error dialog says

staging.smite.esportspedia.com says: 500

Then you are automatically redirected to the source editor.
